LE does not launch

PT Le 7.1.1 is not opening anymore, It bounce a couple of time in the dash board but it wont launch.
I v tried to uninstall and reinstall (nothing), I have download again from Digi and I v install it again freshly (noting), I v repaired permission and all that...it doesn't want to launch...
Any suggestion ?
I m kind of desperate , it really drive me crazy..

here my spec. :

MPB 15" - 2GB Ram -2.16 Ghz
Mac OS X 10.4.11
M-box original
Pt LE 7.1.1

before my M-audio firewire 410 breake down I was using both PT M-Powered 7.1.1 with the FW 410 plus PT Le with the M-box.
Now I have unistalled both M-audio soft and driver and I m trying to use only the Mbox with PT LE 7.1.1

This sounds like the issue of updating the OS via Apple's "Software Update" feature. As a long time Protools users, I've experienced this before. It is recommended that you do not use the "Software Update" from the Apple dropdown menu as a way to update the OS (other updates seem to be fine). The proper way is to go to www.apple.com and download the "Combo Update" for the OS version you are upgrading to (even minor releases). This uses a larger update file that seem to work much better than the smaller one used in "Software Update."

so any suggestion to solve the issue ? I would try to avoid to reinstall OS X 10.4.11 combo again....

I would uninstall and re-install - but before you reinstall, make sure that ALL PT files have been properly erased. Easy on a Mac by searching for keywords "Protools" "Digidesign." Non erased files can cause problems.

Yes I v unistall and reinstall, no digi files on board...but the problem is still there. Kind of driving me crazy...
I m so desperate that I m almost ready to reinstall all the OS X...
what a pain tough....If there is any other suggestion would be great.

No no no. You need to reinstall the "Combo" update for the OS by manually downloading it from the Apple website. What you need to avoid is the "Software Update" from the Apple icon on the menu bar.

Yes meanwhile I have also done that, actually I already had the Combo OS, I v downloadit manually again from the apple website and reinstall it again.
Pt is still dead...
