My GRAPHICS are missing And other PROBLEMS

Every time i start my protools 7.0 sessions, the splash screen is missing, and in place is the letters PNG, futher more, when it does come up, the mixer and edit screen are corrupted and replaced with PNG, for instances the faders. Now i know that a PNG is a graphic file, and everything was just working fine a one time. There has been no change in my video card. Also to top that off, i get the following when starting a new project...

"Could not create a new document because insufficient system resources exist to complete requested service(1450)"

I have recorded and almost finished a mix in this program, so i know it works, i just dont why it stopped working right. Mind you, this is a brand new mbox system,1 week old.

any help would be appreciated.

ps i have uninstalled and reinstalled both the mbox2 and protools, and it is still doing the same thing.

Check to see if your graphics card is running in 32 bit mode and not 16 bit under the Color Quality in Display Properties.

Hi!

Had the same problem with my 002r that I finally got home today. Try installing pro tools LE 7.1 update. Worked for me!

im trying that right now, however i seem to get this error 1450 message in other programs as well.

I had the same "PNG"-issue. I installed the 7.1 update, and that worked really well for me, too..!
