Ephonix MC Mix (v1) and Eucontrol 3.6.1

Hello!

I'm aware, that the old Ephonix MC Mix controllers are not officially supported anymore, but i've found no word about an incompatibility to Eucontrol 3.6.1 and related firmware update anywhere in the forums or the official side from AVID.

But i'm afraid, that when i update the driver and the firmware, it will turn my 2000€ worth controllers into two expensive doorstoppers...

has anyone tried to update and can verify that this works or not?

I'm on Win7 64 bit, My DAW is Cubase Pro 9 64 Bit and my installed eucontrol software version is 3.3.2.

I'm using 2x Euphonix MC Mix and a Euphonix MC transport with no problem. Eucon 3.6.1, PT HD 12.8, OSX 10.10.5

I'm as well on Win7/64bit and Cubase 9.0.20 and use an Euphonix MC Mix and an AVID Artist Control.

Works fine, besides the font on the touchscreen of the artist control.
Seems to be bigger now than before. Had to modify some of the own created softkeys-naming.

Hardware is not supported but Software is still the same as any version of Mix.

Sorry if i have to ask again, but i'm not sure if i get this right: does that mean, that the hardware is still compatible with the soft- and firmware, but if there is a hardwareproblem (e.g. broken fader) there is no support anymore?

Yes you are correct, although you may even be able to get the hardware fixed for a cost as much is the same.

Hello, I do have issues on PC WIN 7 / 64 bit , PT 10. Since I did an update of latest driver and firmware, MC mix stop responding.

Any hints or I shall do downgrade of driver and firmware to 2.6.2 ?

Please describe the issue more. Do you see the Mix in the surfaces list ? is EUCON checked in PT prefs ? Is the network interface selected correctly ?
