Default Troubles Recording Stereo

Hello,
I'm trying to record a bass guitar track through the DI imput in my M-Box.
I created a stereo track to record it on, and as I recorded, my headphones played back in stereo. However, Once I finished recording and listened to it, it only played out of the left speaker.
What to do?? Do I have to resort to recording on a mono track?
Any help is appreciated!

I'm sorry but will admit I am laughing over here

U do know that a Bass guitar is a Mono instrument, as well as ur going into a mono input, which brings the question to u, why would u create a stereo track all of this mono stuff & expect to get stereo which means 2, or simultaneous input(s) when ur using 1 which of course would be mono

Yes.

What you can do to save this situation now is create a mono track, find the bass region in the regions bin, expand it to show left and right, and drag just the side that has signal on it to the mono track. If there are multiple regions, you can consolidate the stereo track before doing this.

Post Re: Troubles Recording Stereo

If you need to 'fix' tracks that you have already recorded... Try the Split Into Mono function then delete the unneeded track(s).

When recording a mono source, use a mono track (it can be center panned to play out both Left and Right channels).
