Default Merging Multiple Avid Accounts

I have two accounts with Avid (two separate logins). This is because I switched cable providers at one point and needed a new email address. So, I since then ditched that service provider and went back to my first one. I want to merge the pro tools products from both accounts into one account. Is this possible? I only have one product that I bought while under the different email address, but i'm trying to simplify. Any help would be appreciated. I would assume it would not be considered a transfer of ownership since my name / address is on both accounts...

Yes, it is possible. They did it for me a few years ago. The problem now is contacting them to get this done without having to cough up $$$. If you figure out a way, let the rest of us know.

Thanks for the reply. Why do they make it an absolute pain in the butt to contact them? There should just be a general Avid support email address right on the contact page. You would think since we purchase their products they can make it easy to submit requests. All I can seem to find is a page that tells me I need an Avid support code...
