Default Samsung SSD T5 and opening PT 11 sessions.

I recently bought a Samsung Solid State Drive to archive my PT sessions. I copy a session to the drive and everything goes fine. I open the session within the Samsung drive and I get a dialog box saying " Could not complete your request because magic ID does not match." I formatted the drive with exFAT so a PC user can also read it.

Does anyone use the Samsung T5 on their Mac systems? Did you have the same problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

This coming from a PC guy: I would reformat as HFS+. If a Windows user needs to access, they can get MacDrive($50) or Paragon HFS+ for Windows($20). While MacDrive WAS better(WAS with Windows 7), I'm not sure they ever fixed it to work with Windows 10. Paragon's HFS+ for Windows seems to work okay here(but I don't try to run a session from an HFS+ drive; I will copy the session onto one of my internal recording drives).

I know the op didn't ask about this but if the T5 is for long-term archive and not just sneaker-netting to a friend I'd not use an ssd but a 7200 rpm spinner.
