I have all my gear running on balanced technical power which by design eliminates ground noise issues. So i doubt that AC line noise is the culprit here. Balanced power has historically resolved many ac and grounding issues that I used to suffer from back in the day.
You can read more here http://svconline.com/mag/avinstall_o...alanced_power/
If the fader cycle mode doesn't help, get a wrist grounding strap and attach it to a metal part of the chassis and see if it makes any difference, Balanced power is great for ground loo issues but the ground issue that might be working here relates to the way the fader caps sense the touch of your finger by reading your skin capacitance.(just try to move a fader with your fingernail).
