Persistent Sustain
Hello, I'm a new Pro Tools user and am running into a problem with the sustain function.
When I try recording from my keyboard, it sounds just the way that I want it to (with correct engaging and releasing of the sustain pedal). But when I finish the recording and play it back, it sounds like I never release my sustain pedal. I am using an 88-key Casio PX320 connected to my Windows 7 via midi to USB cord. I am using a sustain pedal in the keyboard. I am using Pro Tools First and the output is through a Focusrite Scarlett Solo headphone jack. When I look at my MIDI event list, there are lines which say "sustain" but I never see anything that releases the sustain. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. |
