Default Removing Plugins from PT? and updates

Hi there

On PTHD 8.01 and just wanted the quick answers to 2 q's :

1. I think I have some plugins that I tried out that keep crashing my PT, is there a quick way to remove and extract them from PT folder at the root, so that they no longer exist and get sent to trash? Then they won't load and cause problems..

2. Is there the 'right' way to do an update to latest HD version (8.03?) as im still on 8.01 BUT don't have web access to my Mac?

Can I donwload to a usb and update 'over the top' - is that the correct way to update PTHD?

Thanks

1. Macintosh HD - Library - App Support - Digidesign - Plug ins - problem plug - move to the unused folder (next to plug ins).

2. You didn't post what kind of system you have. If it's a MacPro (and therefore eligible for the 8.0.3), then click here:

Download and install in the Mac. I'd drop the pref's before updating, and repair permissions afterwards. Of course, a good clone of your 8.0.1 is probably a GREAT idea to have just in case...
