Default Digi003 and latency free monitoring ???

I have digi003R and PTLE 7.4.2 on OSX Leopard, and I am working on Logic 8 too.

Before, I had RME, and RME have mixer with zero latency monitoring.
I know, MOTU have CueMIx FX for latency free monitoring.

Why Digi003R don't have any monitor mixer ???
I have to work with digital mixer if I want to record singers...
I have to connect mic in 02Rv2 then thrue ADAT in Digi003, but I want to connect mic direct in Digi003R.
If I connect mic direct in Digi003, I have to decrease buffer on 32, but then I have problem with UAD-1 ... Then I must offed all UAD plugins...
It is not correct.

Many cards have monitor mixer: Yamaha DSP Factory, All RME cards, all MOTU cards, Luna, ... all M-Audio ...

Why Digi003R don't have monitor mixer ???

P.S.
My english is not correct. I am sorry for this problem.

Thanks for help

You're right, the 003 does not have hardware monitoring for some reason. However, have you tried the 'low latency monitoring' option (for overdubbing)?

NB With LLM aux are disabled. If the UAD is needed whilst overdubbing, you might consider printing (recording to audio) the FX returns.

Dear,
thanks,

I tried a Low Latency Monitoring in PTLE, and it is OK, but I have problem with Logic Pro 8...

It is nightmare...

If I record external MIDI on audio track thrue digi003R I have to put recording delay: + 3 x buffer (if buffer=256, rec.delay must be on +768)

If I record external MIDI instruments thrue Yamaha 02R to Digi003R, then, I have to put recording delay: -3 x buffer (if buffer = 256, rec.delay must be on -768)

When I record vocal thrue 02R to digi003R and Logic 8, if buffer is 512, I have to put recording delay on -1536 (on Logic Audio Settup)

???

Why ???

I didn't have this problem with Nuendo on RME cards, and my old PC.

P.S.
I hope, You can understand my english... Iam sory if I wrote any mistake.

You should work at 32 buffers, it's close to LLM.
Use the UAD delay to compensate that's what it's designed for.
