compatible interfaces?

Im using mbox 2 mini which uses pro tools le. My question is, im i able to use any type of interface with the le software. I was thinking of upgrading.

Any type of interface? No my man, you'll have to use either one of the Mboxes or the 002/003. You could use other things as front-ends though...

When upgrading, it is always good to keep in mind your purpose. What are you going to need? LE is compatible with M-box 1 and 2 and Digi board 002 and 003. If you want to be very portable, inexpensive, and don't record more than two tracks at once, than an M-box 2 should do the trick. If you want to set up a small home studio, and record up to four tracks at once, then I recommend the 002 board.
As far as upgrading to any other hardware, no matter what PT version you have, the hardware has to be Digi powered to be compatible.
