Default ...and free BF plugs....

Digidesign is giving away the BF 1176 and some BF utility plugins. I say thanks!

I'm lik'in it. The 1176 sounds pretty good and I really like having the meter bridge on the desk top.(meter calibration is very cool too)

Oops! Just realized these are OSX or Windows XP only. Still, a great deal and another reason to make the move... Now if we just had a rock solid soft sampler, I would already be there!

Thanks Digi, I always wanted the BF Essentials and the 1176 is just a huge bonus.

Running PT HD 6.1 on OSX 10.2, I can only instantiate the RTAS versions. With the exception of the BF76, when I attempt to instantiate any (H)TDM versions of the other free plug-ins, I get a -7204 error. Anyone else experiencing this?

Here's another one...the Funk Logic Masterizer comes up with nothing but noise, hum, and crackling when I try to use any of the presets. Anyone else have that one?

RobbaDobba it's supposed to do that. The FLM is a crack up! All the presets with names that are supposed to mean something but seem nothing more than random positions of the three pots. And of course the left and right meters are the wrong way around, etc etc. This was Erik having fun one April Fool's Day if I remember correctly but at the time the plug crashed my machine so I trashed it. Now it works fine . . . or actually badly but that's the intention of the plug. The hiss part is actually quite useful.
