apogee rosetta 200

sorry for a question that has very likely been discussed here but
does the apogee rosetta 200 work well with the 002 (Mac G5 Dual 2.0)
does it become the master clock and therefore improve the over all quality of the 002 analog input channels (besides having the 2 apogee input channels)?
