No midi ports at all despite mmrefresh running as service
I am having an issue with the midi ports from th e mbox2. I just installed it on my desktop(Nvidia chip set custom DAW), i had some trouble getting the audio to work so i ptnuke the install, renamed any leftover folders and things and did a fresh install, Ta Da...the audio now works fine and I know longer get the "hardware cannot be found error".
However, I cannot see the midi ports at all. not in PT or any where else. The entry in the device manager is there. Ive tried updating the driver from the device manager, installing from the drivers folder, and un-installing the Device Mnge entry and reinstalling...no good. any direction would be good. I am very computer savvy and can dig in the registry if need be. thanks.
