I sort of get that, It's a NeXT Step reference isn't it ?

OS X = Mac OS + NeXT Step

Windows 95 and onwards = Rip off of Mac OS with lot of NeXT Step Gui features thrown in to make it look original to the drones that buy into their junk operating systems.

or maybe you just spelt it that way accidentally
