Could you take a glance at it to see if it's possible to do what you say?
I tried to change the sounds on the pads but it didn't change anything in PT.

I did what you said but I can't hear EZdrums that way:

You should upgrade to ez drummer 2. You are using a quite dated version and ez2 has a midi map for the Roland drums from what I recall. I triggered a td-11k this way and just used the mixer to split the drums to different stereo instrument tracks. You get a discount to upgrade and I think is even on sale.

I can't think of a good reason for you not to be able to hear the plugin. This is exactly as I run mine. So, maybe review Preferences>Midi tab and select NONE to be the default thru instrument.

Yeah go to the view that shows the controllers on your track.

Your midi control info should be there

Pic to follow

Well I don't have a Roland e-set, I have a Yamaha e-set. I did download the demo for EZD2 to check it out and it did have Yamaha as a map option but I couldn't get it running in PT so I only tried the standalone. What's odd tho is that it did fix my problems regarding the snare and kick but the sound didn't get triggered by EZD2. Hopefully if I buy the new EZD2 it will work in PT as well. Cheapest I could find ran around 100 bucks.

Alright I did this, but it didn't work.
It registers the hits but no sound

Thank you so much! Yea it's fixed now :)

Now to figure out if I can actually change the pads to trigger the right assignment... Then to figure out how to separate each drum to separate channels. But first things first. I have a feeling that I might have to upgrade to EZD2...

Regarding midi mapping inside pro tools itself, googled the DUC and got loads of hits. I suspect most of them concludes that it's not possible, but you might find info from others in your situation:
midi mapping in pro tools site:duc.avid.com

(Retsricting the googling to the DUC is that easy, and very effective.)

Alright, thought I'd make an update. I bought EZD2 and have for the last 2 days trying to get it to work. Finally after some support I've done it.
I can now record with my e-drums triggering ezd in pt.

So now I wonder if anyone could tell me how I would go about splitting up the drum channels and re-direct them from ezd?
