Seeing as how there are other DAWs complaining the issue over at the AIRMUSICTECH forum, I'd guess it is AIR and Apple.

OP already mentioned this, but it bears repeating - this fix only works if you leave the .big file where the installer wants it to be. If (like me) you keep your VI libraries in a different place, it won't work.

Also, the update to 10.12.2 didn't change anything here.

Well, after hours of testing Mini Grand and Structure Free I have an update.

I cannot get Mini Grand to falter using the plist file from Vickie, and thank you again for it, however, applying the temporary fix also to com.airmusictech.Structure.plist allows Structure Free to work as long as you only use the stock patches provided.

On my system, when you go to the Structure Free browser and start searching for other patches to use, that's when it will fall apart again. It's all OK until you save and exit your session and that's when the com.airmusictech.Structure.plist file gets written to with updates of your browsing locations and other pertinent information and the two keys are overwritten again and the next time you use the VI Structure Free, it won't work until you modify the two suspect keys again.

I was so excited that it began to work at all that I hadn't tested it fully for browsing and adding your own patches and didn't realize that it would crater again.

Sorry to have mislead anyone on this.

But Mini Grand still works great!

I have the same problem. I'm using a Yamaha Portable Grand DGX 200 keyboard as my midi controller. I record with the sustain pedal on, but when I go to play it back, I can only get Mini Grand to play the sustain by stepping on the sustain pedal. And only when the instrument track is record enabled. And I can't get the sustain to work when I bounce the track, either to an audio track, or to disk. It's just stacatto notes.

I haven't been able to figure out where this information is stored in the midi. But it must be there because the sustain does work when I play back per the above. But even when the sustain is working, some notes still cut off early.

Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

I'm running Pro Tools 12 on a Dell Latitude E7450.
