PTLE8.03cs2 will not work with Windows 7

Hello,
So my previous post, I was told you can't use an Mbox with PTLE 8.03 cs2. So I bought an Mbox 2 mini. I followed a posting I found on the DUC on how to install PT8 properly by not connecting the mbox2 during certain parts of the installation. I downloaded the core audio for x64. The PT starts up , slowly.., and then tells me MSCDV08.dll is missing please try to reinstall and then tells me I need to connect the digidesign hardware. The mbox 2 is connected but no usb light. I still have my old pc with PT8 running on windows XP. I connected the Mbox2 and it works perfect. Any advice in what I should do next to get PT to run on win 7?

The Win 7 release is a BETA version, and it hasn't been fully approved.
Any advice in what I should do next to get PT to run on win 7?
Given the experiences of a LOT of readers on here, that's a really loaded question. it clearly just isn't ready yet.
