It works!
I've been running it tracking and mixing all day and I'm happy to announce- No more white noise, more responsive and even sounds way better. Yes , yes, yes!!!! Good job Digi(or should I say Avid).

I've been testing this with M-powered on win 7 64 bit. I have run it every night for about 3 hours including some longer odd runs last weekend, and have had no issues as of yet. I hope it's a keeper

This driver does not address the main issues on W7, that will be forthcoming, however it has addressed the white noise issue with 8.0.3 on XP.

I know it says only xp. But when I got the "beta" cs2 I said in my email I only use win7 64. And I have not had any issues at all. I couldn't say it fixed anything though because know one knows exactly how to recreate it all the time. But every thing I have done to get it in the past, has been WNB free so far. Still hoping.

I strongly believe M-Powered is more stable with W7 than LE is - again, as I've said before, due to M-Audio drivers being fully W7 supported.

Just speaking from personal experience - I have both MP and LE; v8.0.3 and above of LE has caused me more problems than the equivalent MP versions have.

well with past problems with my delta 1010 lt driver, distorted audio and static, it defiantly makes a lot of sense.

I don't know if it's just because of my card (Delta 2496), or if I'm just lucky.... but M-Powered has presented very, very few problems - so much so that when I read through some of the threads in the LE section to get tips for my own LE setup, I feel so sorry for everyone.

That's why I'm completely going without LE until the next major update from Digi.
