UnWrap PlugIn by TC

Hi there,

I am pretty new to Pro Tools TDM and the plug-in thing. I just got a demo licence for the UnWrap tool but I can't find it in Pro Tools in the AudioSuite. Can you tell me exactly how to use it? The unwrap file is in the plug-in folder but it doesn't appear in Pro Tools!?

UnWrap is not an audiosuite-plugin, - but a realtime-plug-in and should be used on single, - most likely used on a masterchannel or mixbus.
UnWrap is in essence an upconversion-plug, in that it will take your standard stereo-mix and convert it to make a surround-mix.

Hope this helps you , - but you really should take the time to read up on it (the manual you know;-)), - as its a great plug.

thanks for the quick answer! As I am really new to using Pro Tools, how do I select a real-time plugin on a master channel? When I click on the inserts of a master channel, I can't find the UnWrap plug-in... The manual doesn't really tell how to get started with the plugin. It's about how to hadle the different settings when using the plugin. So that wasn't a help so far. Hope you could help me again
