Default 24fps to 29.97fps SRC?

What's the pull up number for a correct Sample Rate Conversion from a session at 24fps to a new one at 29.97fps?

Thanks... but.. how I do that in protools?

I mean, I recorded with the sound devices 744T with the TC set at 24fps, 48khz, 24 bits. And the editor wants it at 29.97, because he is going to edit with FCP.

So I thought to just transfer the dialogs from one session at 24fps, to an other at 29.97.

So it should be 48Khz x 0.1%, thats going to be 48.048khz?

Hi Groan,

Open a new session at 29.97, go to the file menu and do an import session data from your previous session. When importing session data, choose in the up right corner, aply SRC. There are presets of pull up and pull down. In your case, you should pick a pull down of 0.1%. It is a pull down (film to NTSC) you need and not a pull up (NTSC to film). Your new sample rate should be of 47,952 KHZ.

I may be wrong, seeing that I only work in PAL(no weird formats to change in PT). But what you can do is open a new session, 'press cmd 2' and change the fps there. should be as simple as that.

Yes, Neps is right. But remember that only that wont do the trick for you. You must import session data and do the sample rate conversion.

Use the numeric keypad. Or use the menu: Setup>Session.
