Importing audio from mp4 video slow

Hi All

Today I imported audio from a mp4 video it took 7min and 40s.
When importing from the converted DNxHD it took 19 seconds.

The length of the video is 57min.

Has anyone else experienced this?

When I run into that I import just the video, strip the audio from the MP4 using the free www.shutterencoder.com and import that audio to my timeline.

Yes, and sometimes the audio import would fail - or take so long for the green line to move I thought it failed. Shutter Encoder is capable of so much, that it's a must have, especially since it's free
