Default Tab To Transients in Note View

I'm moving a lot of notes around in slip mode and am looking for the best way to do this...

Does anyone know if its possible to tab to each midi note while looking at the notes and NOT the region? Works great when I'm in region view, but the problem is that it's useless since I cant edit notes without switching to the note view.

Or perhaps is it possible to separate each note into an individual region in one command so I can slide those around? Something like strip silence for midi?

Thanks!

Snap Note Start/End to Insertion (Start or Ctrl+Start). MEW Tab to Transient works here.

Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean. Where do you see "Snap Note Start/End To Insertion"? I don't have a "Start" key either. And I don't know what "MEW" means.

Can you elaborate further? And to be clear I do have the "Tab To Transients" button highlighted. It's just that it ONLY works while looking at midi regions.

MIDI Editor Window.

Snap Note Start or Note End to Insertion only works in MEW. I-beam MEW timeline (Edit Insertion) and on Mac I think it's Apple and Apple Option and mouse-over the Note Start and click.

There is a bug that I have run into that seems to affect this.

Tab to next or previous note should work in either notes view in the edit window or in the midi editor. Tab to transients doesn't seem to be necessary..

It seems to be a symptom of corrupted sessions..

I have never personally been able to track what causes it..

Here is the thread that I originally posted in concerning the problem:

No solid conclusions there, either, I'm afraid..
