Default Help! Consolidation issue!

I've been working on a project where I have a track chopped up by 32nds and of course I had to crossfade all of the regions so there are no pops/clicks. It sounds perfect when I just crossfade them but then when I go and consolidate all the regions it seems to undo the crossfading and the pops/clicks come back. Anyone have any ideas?!

Have you checked your volume automation. Sometimes there are issues with pops and clicks in that window.

What would I be looking for in the automation window?
