So I am running Panther 10.9.3...and the box says it requires 10.4(im not a good mac guy yet, I have another HD system that is PC)....But I can't find the update anywhere...and I tried "About this Computer" thing..and the automatic update thing...but it's not on there....

Am I suppose to upgrade to tiger??? I'm quite confused at the moment. Any help is appreciated...thx and love :P

Brian,

You cannot possibly have 10.9.3 unless you're writing from the future. You probably ment 10.3.9.

As far as I know (and you can check this on http://www.digidesign.com/compato/) Pro Tools 7 does require Mac OS 10.4. However, you cannot update from 10.3.9 to 10.4 for free. You need to buy 10.4, unfortunately...

10.4. is Tiger. That's what you need to install.
