No worries I'd prefer it to be automatic though. I think you'll find that there are issues when using the mix to control sends faders. The faders becomes jerky when you move it...

Just so you know on the latest version of eucon when using the faders to control sends in protools results in jerky faders as soon as you try to move it. This is on win7 ultimate 64bit... By the way this also happens when controlling plugin knobs with the faders

It seems that EUCON initiates too early in the boot process.
Would it not be easy to program a delay for those who choose to have EUCON start at boot?

Didn't work in my case.

I'm using macbook pro with retina display. using usb to ethernet adapter to connect artist control.

USB to Ethernet adapter

MC mix & MV controll both shown in the eucon app. but nothing happend in when ProTools in lunched :-/ same problem with PT 10 on this system.


so frustating

is it possibl ethat some usb to ethernet adapter dont work?
but in the system/network the adapter is active and in the eucon app they are also shown.

please help us !

It doesn't for me.

The only thing that seems to work is to reinstall 'Install_EUCON_Workstation.pkg'. Everything connects and Pro Tools sees both our MC-Mix and MC-Control. But once I reboot, Pro Tools won't connect even if I add the MCs to 'My Surfaces' and my workstation is added to 'My Workstations' attached.

We just recently upgraded from OSX 10.6.8 to 10.8.5. We had no problems at all with connectivity before

it works now fine. somebody told me the solution.
the only way to get the artist controller working is to give them manually IPs.

1. in OSX system prefs "network" set the USB->ethernet on "manual" and give it a fix IP number. (f.e. 192.168.000.92)

2. after that you give each of your controller a fix IP with the next following number. (f.e. 192.168.0.93)
you have to do this on the hardware.
While holding down both <PAGE> keys simultaneously, press and release the POWER switch. The Network Setup screen appears on the Touchscreen.

after that everything works fine. always.

I've always had the MCs on static IPs and I still had the same problem.
