Default delay compensation on PT HD 9

hi

Is it possible to setup delay compensation in PT 9 HD 3, so you don't use your Acell cards chip to calculate the delay ? - it would be wonderfull to have the extra chips for plugins .
I guess it is possible ? - because it's said that you will have delay compensation when using PT HD 9 native :)

best regards Lars Krarup

It is not possible to offload ADC off the cards when using the TDM engine. The only way to use ADC on the host is to switch entirely to the native engine.

It would be lovely though to have the 6 or 7 DSP chips for plugins instead of using them for delay compensation - AVID should just let TDM user have the same features that native users will have now :)

best regards Lars

I couldn't agree more. It's possible Avid might have something up it's sleeve for us HD users at NAMM this January. Most days, i like the stability and low latency of the TDM engine, but it would be nice if it was a bit more flexible.
