Not fair to say so. This release has a long list of new features too, just that if they are not benefiting your workflow you cannot blame Avid. Some people will be happy

Honestly the feature list is not that long.
But I don't really care anymore. As long as PT becomes a stable and reliable tool I'm viewing my annual fee as maintenance cost for my main working tool. I can live with that.

don't see anything about the HDX voices being increased.. or has this already been initiated in a previous release?

If ProTools was completely rewritten into an app which merely erased your hard drive when opened, you'd still suggest it was a great bit of software from Avid.

Jokes aside, the list isn't long, and many features aren't *really* features, and most of this release is an attempt to fix bugs. Imagine releasing an automobile into the market two years earlier than it should be, with 50 known issues, then charging the customer for a maintenance plan designed to fix those bugs. It's genius! Set something out into the world before it's finished, then make the customer pay for the final stages.

OK, you post guys enjoy your three and a half seconds of mild jouissance from this update.
