Hi all, does anyone else have the issue described in the title? It happens once in every ten times I open a session. I have had it with every version of 2020. I contacted support about 6 months ago about the issue and they said it was known about by their engineers, but had not yet been resolved. Is it only aa small number of users who have this problem - is it something to do with my set up or template? Surely this is quite a big bug that should have been fixed immediately?

I guess no-one else is experiencing this issue - hopefully it'll get fixed with Pro Tools 2021.1 !

I've seen that on Windows with large sessions. Also, closed folder tracks will often show their included tracks briefly as the session loads up. Mind you, my machine is a 5 year old i7, and has only 16 GB RAM (new one ordered, Xeons with 64 GB). It doesn't bother me to see the extra tracks momentarily. Doesn't seem to hurt anything.

it's quite time consuming to manually go though and hide all the tracks that were previously hidden - I work with quite a large post template

Wait, are you saying they don't disappear by themselves? The bug I've seen only makes hidden tracks appear for a second or two, maybe 5 seconds on a big session, then all is as it should be.

I've seen the hidden tracks flash for a moment and then disappear (hidden). So I figured it was just during the loading process. If the OP is saying that the hidden tracks stay visible after loading and he needs to manually hide them again, something strange is going on.

they remain visible and I need to manually hide them - as I say, this has happened on every version of 2020 across two different setups. It's an odd one.
