Default 32 track limit?

Have you found the 32 track limit to be a non-issue? I do most of my work in SONAR3 (which has unlimited tracks), but have been converting back and forth (using broadcast wave files) with PT sessions a lot lately, and it probably makes sense to start tracking certain projects in a PTLE system. However I'm wondering how the 32 track ceiling would impact the workflow. Sometimes we can have up to 16 tracks of background vocals alone. How are PTLE users working around this? temp bouncing? Will the track count for PTLE increase to 48 at some point?

This is the teaser to get you to upgrade to the pro systems.
Honestly the most tracks I have on any single song I have recorded with pro-tools is 30 tracks, and it was almost too much to handle for me. I prefer working with smaller mixes if I can.

If you need more though, you got to upgrade. No way around it.

happy tooling,
thanks, maybe a future LE upgrade will increase the voice count...I'm not really feelin a move to TDM at this point.

Our main "machine" is a Mackie HJDR 24/96 Pro, which is only 24 tracks. I'd estimate about 50% of the work here fits in those 24. If we need more, we fly tracks into Protools, which expands out track count to 56. That so far has been sufficient, however we've come close a few times.
