M-Powered 8 crossgrade to Pro Tools 11

I'm a Pro Tools M-Powered 8 owner, can I crossgrade to Pro Tools 11?. From Avid´s web they do not specify which version of MP you can crossgrade from. Another question, do I need to buy another Ilok key.

Yes you can crossgrade from Pro Tools M-Powered to Pro Tools 11 and Yes you will need a new iLok2 for the Pro Tools 11 license.

Also, Pro Tools 11 is 64 bit, so make sure you have the correct operating system.

The crossgrade applies from any version of M-Powered. Since you need the Ilok 2 as well, you might consider instead getting the Eleven Rack for $699, which comes with PT11/10, and an Ilok 2.

Thank you all for taking a moment to answer my questions. Yes, I have 64bit OS and 18 Gigs of RAM .I have it all since I bought Pro Tools M-Powered a few years ago just because the guys at the shop promised me that the upgrade to MP 8.5 would be 64bit, so you can imagine how long I've been waiting for. The idea of buying the Eleven Rack I don´t see it possible because I live in Europe and here is all rather more expensive than in USA, the Eleven Rack 755 EUR worth $ 1.036. The Mbox Pro is worth about the same and also brings PT 11 and 10 as well, or so I believe, anyway I think I´ll pay for the upgrade, crossgrade to Pro Tools 11 plus the iLok2 450 USD 327 EUR not bad.
