Cleaning Contacts on New Graphics Card - Silly Question Maybe
My Graphics card in my Dual 2.7GHZ computer died and I managed to purchase a new ATI Radeon X800XT Mac Edition from old stock, (expensive!). Since it has been lying around for sometime the copper tracks on the connector of the card which go into the ADC slot are fairly dull i.e. oxidised. I was going to clean them with DE-OXIT, being careful and only applying using a cotton bud so that the De-oxit won't go everywhere. I just wanted to ask whether anybody has done this, whether this will damage the card in anyway and which De-oxit would you use the standard De-oxit or the De-oxit Gold which is slightly stronger. Or is there a better way of cleaning the copper tracks/pins. Thanks for all your help,

a hard rubber eraser should be all you need to shine the contacts up
