Wondering if Eucon is still working correctly for you? I find that every time I thought mine was working correctly, it would crash eventually and then crash constantly.
What version software are you using? Logic X? Mavericks? Eucon 3.1?

it still does not work.
I'm on Maverick like I was on my previous mac and it worked fine.

My screen has been freezing as well ever since I upgraded to Mavericks. Any movement of the mouse unfreezes it but only for a couple seconds. It makes scrolling (on the MIX) impossible, pretty much renders it useless.

I upgraded from Snow Leopard only because I've been getting a lot of sessions on Logic X that I couldn't open. I'm really bummed because SL was very stable, Mavericks on the other hand has been a huge headache.

The Artist Mix is a staple in my workflow, very upset that it's been out of commission this long. I am exploring other options, can't be without a control surface.

All I could do was to return to Mountain Lion and PT10, everything is stable here and working correctly.

that happened when I changed my mac. I had a backup of it in my time capsule, so everything was the same...except my control surfaces had that " freeze" bug.

people working on PC have the same problem, it is not related to a specific OS or hardware...

incredible for so expensive devices...

It is. Shame the same process didn't return functionality for you. Must be Avid's responsibility to work this out then and leave us end users playing the waiting game.

In the meantime I'll stick to my current config as I guess I'm fortunate enough it's working under these conditions. I did consider going down the ipad route with the Neyrinck V-Control which I have purchased, but as you say the control surface is a lot of money to make it redundant when it could be excellent and is when functional!

and most of all it WAS...so why isn't it anymore ? and why it is so long ?
