6.1... 002 and Mbox on SAME Puter?

Anybody trying this? I noticed the 6.1 installer still makes you CHOOSE one or the other. What's the actual difference between these installations? And what happens if you try to run both on the same install?

Just the docs I believe... 6.1 should work with either - you just can't have them both connected at the same time.

So, this is actually possible? You can work with the 002R at home, then take the lappy to a cafe with an Mbox attached and keep working on the same session? Oh my, what joy...

I will try this and report the results... then I will take a long road trip to Canada and the mini-rig will be with me...

Here's my scenario ...

I've got at PowerBook G4 1GHz (1GB ram) and a Power Macintosh G4 Dual 1 GHz (1.25GB ram)

The PM G4 was running my Digi 002 System ProTools 6.0.2 and the PB G4 my Mbox ProTools 6.0.1!

I installed the corresponding upgrade on both Systems and then ran the upgrade again and installed the opposit System.

When installing the Mbox version, the Digi 002 Controller file will not be installed! and what else is missing I'm still to find out ;-)

Both Mac's are running very stable and I can switch Digi Design hardware and have fun on the road ... [img]images/icons/cool.gif[/img]

Now i just need the Core Audio Driver for my Digi 002 - Thanks Digi!
