Default Ensemble + Ext HD + imac - your thoughts

hello all!
I just recently got a iMac, and got a Ensemble to work with it

I know there are many advantages to using a second drive as audio drive!
so I wanted to get a Glyph firewire HD to use as audio drive.

I wanted to know from you guys whom have a similar configuration, if your get any problens daisy chaining your firewire audio interface and Ext HD...

would it be bettter so use the glyph FW 800 port first on the imac, then plug the ensemble FW 400 to the HD as second? or the others way?

thanks for your help!
