DAE-error 11

It happen when try to open session. Have to restart computer.

have same problem with G4 , was there before with OS 8.6 and PT 5.01!!

if you go to Answerbase and do a search for that error, you will probably find some info...it's been helpful to me in the past for other errors....

I get this every time I try to start PT after having quit it (secont time starting PT). If I don't quit PT I can open and close sessions all day. I had this problem and Digi couldn't figure it out, then it went away and now its back. I have not found any thing that fixes the problem-- min. extensions etc don't seem to have any effect at all.

Are you quitting Pro Tools to use another program, then quitting that program and relaunching Pro Tools? Are you using Bias Peak or another program that uses DAE or accesses the Digi hardware in some way? There is an entry in the Answerbase from a search on "-11" (with quotes) that mentions this as a known problem.
