Default Pro tools can't find 003 but mac can

Hello,

I've been working with pro tools 9 and a 003 for 10 months now, for some reason, this morning when I turned on my PT, it didn't recognized my 003.
The mac did, even itunes and audio midi setup, but PT didn't. It played thru it's aggrigate device. I havn't installed any plugins or updates what so ever.

I'm working no a mac pro with OSX 10.6.7, 6GB ram and Pro tools 9.0.2.

And again, I never had this problem before.

Thanks,
Arnon

Default PT 9.0.2 can't find 003

Hello,

I've been working with pro tools 9 and a 003 for 10 months now, for some reason, this morning when I turned on my PT, it didn't recognized my 003.
The mac did, even itunes played through it and audio midi setup saw it, but PT didn't. It played thru it's aggrigate device. I havn't installed any plugins or updates what so ever.

I'm working no a mac pro 2.66 Xeon with OSX 10.6.7, 6GB ram, Pro tools 9.0.2 and 003.

And again, I never had this problem before.

Thanks,
Arnon

Please launch Pro Tools with the N key down to open the Playback Engine window, and let us know if the 003 is an option there.

I'l try that. I can tell you that in a new or an old session, when I open the Hardware setup, it doesn't show the 003, only the Pro Tools Aggregate I/O.

Like I've said, I've been using it for a long time so... Yes, I've installed the drivers. Anyway, I did load protools with the N key pressed, and it did suddenly recognize my 003. Hadn't had any problems since.

Thanks,
Arnon

If you try to fire-up Pro Tools 9 with the 003 turned off, I sometimes forget to turn it on, then PT will find the internal audio, and never again find the 003 until you delete prefs or fire-up Pro Tools with the n key pressed.
