Default Blue screen of death with new drivers

I just installed the .4b driver and now I simply can not launch Pro Tools.
I keep getting the blue screen of death shortly before the launch process is finished.
In installed per Digi's instructions.

Also before when I turned on the 003 it always said "003 Off Line"
or something to that effect.
Now it says nothing and the "Host" light keep blinking.

Any ideas as to why PT crashes my computer while launching?

Thanks

GD

Have you tried going back to 8.0.3 ?

If it works after downgrading, then it must just be because those beta drivers aren't working for your DAW - not yet.

Hard to offer ideas without any info on the computer, the interface or the OS.

I used the 003r with Cubase 5 and when I shut Cubase down i used to get the BSOD. Now i switched back to my RME in Cubase and i don't get the BSOD.

I uninstalled the .4b drivers.
Am back to 8.0.3 and everything seems to be OK.
Will know more tomorrow.
For now though at least I can start the software and I was able to play normally.
I also have my Lynx converter and clock support back.

By the way this is on a Win7 OS.
Think I'll just stay here until an official Win7 support is out.

Thanks.
