Please Be Aware: Updating PT unticks 'AutoBackup'
Hi all,
Just a friendly heads up. Since I installed the latest version of Pro Tools (as an update), the Autobackup setting has been 'unticked'. I've just found out the hard way, and lost a bunch of edits due to the app randomly crashing. I went to open the recover file, and nothing has been saved since I updated PT a few days ago. When looking at my preferences, the box for autosave was unticked. If you've recently update Pro Tools, I suggest you double-check if Autosave is still ticked. This may an issue with my computer, sure, but if this helps even one of you then I'm glad I gave the heads up! All the best. |

Good to know. I don't recall this happening to me with the last update, but it's always good to check. Thanks!
