Portable Digi001
Hi,
I would like to point out and idea to digi hope getting reply and feedbacks. ProTools today considered to be the leading standard of the Computerized Digital Audio Production. One of the things PTLE bought or future (pc) releases would bring is the ability to take projects home and something like "rough mix" or sketch with my projects. The thing missing is a portable Digi001 to make digi true winner. I have no clue home much technical problems would be but it's as I assume mostly rewriting driver and creating replacement for PCI I/F as maybe PCMCIA or maybe future single release based only on USB & Add some battery/DC Adapter addition to powerit up. Portable PTLE with 8in/out & ADAT I/O would be cost-effective solution for example to record live shows multitracked and maybe to give more mixing power for shows. Portable Digi001 with Notebook seems to me the kill most portable recording technics offered today with something, light-weight, fast, cost-effective, high quality possible for later PT editing...
