Once again:

Can someone point me towards the threads (previous to PT8) asking for a "less bright" look?

Every program I use is "too" bright according to this logic.

Including this forum.

This forum is perfect. Whites, blacks and everything in between.

I missed the doctor posts. What did the Proctologist have to say? (sorry, I could not resist)

that's why the quote function is so important to use.

Hi Kenny
I knew there was a discussion and I have found it

All our problems started

with this guy
25ghost

He started this thread on 12-08-2006, 12:09 PM

http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread...highlight=dark

It took digi two years to come his wish true

So maybe our wishes will come true in 2 years

Ale

(in that OLD post long ago, 25 ghost said):
Quote:
Since PT 7.3 IMO lays weight on new right-click commands (Which 7.2 TDM had as well) and millions of groups and important features like being able to snap a region to the next.

So my feature request is a little more down to earth:

I dont like this totally BRIGHT looking interface... It is almost like lying on the beach trying to work on a tan. My eyes get beat after 7 hours of starring at the monitors. How about just making 2 LOOKS of protools: One bright theme and one Dark theme. This way you would accommodate everyone. I know quite a bit of producers who could work for even more hours with less eye problems if only the Protools interface would not render the amount of Light that could supply Boston with energy for a day... You would not really have to change any graphics only make 'em darker and more eye friendly...
Was he talking about Boston the band or Boston the city.

It IS about time for a Digi Tea Party, don'tcha think?

well, this thread is beginning to be a real humour territory but... the fact still is that a lot of us real ask seriously digidesign to bring a way to upgrade to users like us who just can't work with that new gui.
It's now more than 3 monthes and i'm waiting only for that to upgrade.

This is just some sort of gallows humour

But mik you are right.

I think I will write the digi guy (he posted somewhere in the middle)
a personal mail

the humor is because we are comfortable enough to laugh and know better than to cry

the new ProTools is not as well thought out as Digi thought is was.

this is not opinion

it is fact

our sore eyes and frustration don't lie to us

we trust the force

someone must pay

where is Barabus..it IS almost Easter

it shouldn't have been us.

Digi is looking like Barabus to me.

But with a little faith perhaps Digi too can rise, but it's been longer than 3 days.

Digi...roll the stone.

Come on out, we are waiting for you to save the plantet.
