Default Pro Tools 7 Compatible with MacBook Pro?

Hi There

Sorry if this is a very basic question, I'm new to Pro Tools.

I've installed Pro Tools 7 LE onto my new Macbook Pro this morning, to work with an M-Box 2.

2 problems have so far occurred -

1. The M-Box 2 is not being recognised when I plug into the left USB port.

2. More worryingly, when I load ProTools it crashes the MacBook and I have to restart.

Is Protools 7 compatible with MacBook Pro? I took a quick look att he compatiblity section of DigiDesign and it doesn't list it as one. I find that odd as it's brand new... The M-Box also came with an older version of Protools 6.8.1 - should I have installed this?

I'm running on OS X 10.4.7 with 1GB RAM and a 2.16 GHZ Intel...

Any help?

Phil

You'll need to download Pro Tools LE 7.1.1 update for Intel-based Macs from our website.

Go here

http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...&categoryid=36

And then go here to download the "cs" update for Pro Tools LE 7.1.1 (this is a support update with bug fixes)

But what if I add a 4 Slot ExpressCard to PCI Expansion System from magma to my MacBook Pro?

http://www.mobl.com/expansion/produc...ot/index.html#

I'm about to make my system mobile and thinking about a MacBook Pro. My system is a PCI HD2+1Process card.

Could you please give me a hint if this could work, even if this is not officially supported yet.

Best regards.
