Syncronising Mbox 2 with a Roland vs 1680
Hi guys!
System: PTLE 7.1 on a pentium 4 3.33ghz with 2GB ram. I`m trying to sync my Mbox 2 with a Roland VS1680 using midi and spdif. To do this i followed this procedure: http://answerbase.digidesign.com/detail.cfm?DID=28783 I guess this procedure has been done with an older version of PT. I can not find the sync mode setup that is described in point 3, in PTLE 7.1. Does anyone know where these settings are located in ptle 7.1 ? Everything else has been set up as described, and if i look under Setup--->Session , i get incoming time from the Vs 1680. The only problem is that PT does not start recording when i hit play on vs1680. The spdif connection works fine and i can record audio from the vs 1680. Anyone here that have done this? thanks! Re: Syncronising Mbox 2 with a Roland vs 1680
Does anyone know how to tell pro tools to begin recording when you get a incoming time as described in my first post? I think that this might be the problem since i can see the incoming time in PT under "Setup--->Session".
