...for making such a pathetic core audio driver. Not only can I not get the audio inputs to work in Digital Performer 4.5, the program crashes due to the core audio driver every time I quit it or run setup utilities (my core audio version is the one that came with 6.4). Also, the setup allows me to select digital clock source but then when I save those settings...it reverts to internal.

Stereo outs work though, as does MIDI which makes me think it's digi's way of saying don't use other software.

anyone having this issue?

p.s. I see a lynx 2 card in my future as well as a 002rack on ebay if I can't fix this situation- digital performer may be worth the swap.

Ableton Live standalone using Digi's CoreAudio driver = sucks.
Once you get to the 10 track count, it's color beachball time, audio dropouts, sluggish performance, etc.
Oh you want reverb or a simple delay in the session? Yeah, right....

well (fingers crossed), core audio driver 6.7 may have fixed the problem....I hope it stays stable I still can't select the digital clock source in the setup, but a few pops and clicks are better than no audio. Guess I'll look around for an old MOTU piece on ebay to run DP with.
