MIDI Studio

OK, My M Audio KEYSTATION AND MOTIF6 works perfectly on my laptop, Snow Leopard 10.6.5, NEWLY installed PROTOOLS 9 for playing instruments. So why doesn't it work on my MAC MINI DualCore 2.4GHz with the sam setup? In the MIDISTUDIO, the "testmidi" shows an indication that the controllers are working via the arrows. But when loading up an instrument "the same way I did on my MacBook Pro", it doesn't play the instrument. Could the folders be in a different/wrong place? I setup the laptop to be simult with the MacMini as backup. HELP PLEASE?
