PT don´t answer 4/5 times when exiting

Hi. All of a sudden my PT has started not to answer when i try to exit the program. I guess you can say it crashes, but not while running and recording, etc. It happens when i´m done and exiting. There are no data lost in the process (oh, yeah, it crashes the f**cked up way sometimes too, of course:)). So, when not answering it spins and spins and if i try to enter a command (like clicking on anything) it goes into "white fog"-mode and just keep on spinning. To shut the program down i have to right-click on the symbol in the taskbar and choose close window. From there i get a dialogue frame saying PT doesn´t answer and that information might be lost and i can choose to either shut the program down or wait for it to answer. I´ve choosed to wait a couple of times, but i´d still be waiting if i didn´t choose to shut down in the end. Lastly i get a dialouge frame saying something like wait while windows sends info to microsoft and the program thereafter shuts down.

To me the problem started arbitrary and i see no pattern regarding why it don´t act the same every time. 4 out of 5 times it crashes, but that fifth time it shuts down like it should. I use a Lenovo thinkpad with windows 10. My PT version is 2018.10. I run a 500 gb ssd and 16 gb of RAM (it´s a tad bit low, i know). So, has anyone experienced this and is it in any way linked to PT? I´d really appieciate the help. / Jonas

Can you try launching the session without any plugin on it . Pressing shift while launching it . The exit the session and test .
