Digidesign MIDI I/O on Protools LE (Intel Mac)

i was reading and browsing through the different updates for Protools LE for the Intel mac and it was sayin something bout the Digidesign MIDI I/O update for Protools LE.I was wondering if this works withe protools LE and if it does what other interfaces from Protools HD works with it
