Pro tools HD on an intel mac running windows XP?

I didn't know which category to post this in, so apologies.
The studio I work at has always run pro tools on a PC, next week, the management is buying an 8 core intel mac, from the threads I've read, the Leopard release hasn't quite settled in yet, does anyone know if it would be possible to run pro tools on one of these machines formatted with windows xp using boot camp until the bugs are out and all the plugs are updated?
