Anyone use AutoTune EFX-3?

I'm having 'close and save' issues with AutoTune EFX-3. If there is at least one active AutoTune EFX-3 plugin on any insert, you can try saving the session but it won't close until after you hit 'close' and it brings up the screen 'save before closing?' In other words, you know how the "Save" text should go from dark black to grey after you try saving? It stays dark black, and so I'm hoping that each time you try saving through the Save text it actually saves the session in your external drive. I know it does after you hit close and then click on Save before Closing.

And if you deactivate the plugin, or remove it from the inserts, the session saves and closes normally. So I guess I've been figuring out the parameters of the EFX-3 for a vocal, copying the settings, removing the plugin, and using AudioSuite, pasting the settings into the EFX-3, and rendering the process. This eliminates any need to keep an active EFX-3 plugin on any track chain.

I use AutoTune EFX-3 on OSX 10.10.5 / PT 12.8.1 without any issues.

I take it you've already tried thrashing prefs and reinstalling the plugin?

Yeah I’ve done those things. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

It seems not many here share your experience. Have you tried opening a support ticket at the Antares help desk?

I did create a ticket for Antares twice - one was a quick response they would look at it for a future update. The next ticket I created I mentioned it along with a different click/pop issue creating pops on the rendered waveform using EFX3 I was having. They helped me with my click/pop issue (run the buffer size up when you’re processing plugins) but didn’t say anything about the save/close issue. I’m running PT 12.6 and should be ok.

EFX-3 on the latest Mojave, Pro Tools 12.6, 2018 Mac Mini, working fine here.
