Error -20008

Hi Folks,
Hoping someone can help. I have the AIR Expansion pack running PT11 with the latest upgrade. When I insert LOOM in to a session and try to save I'm getting..'could not save because (-20008) while translating tracks'.

As soon as I remove it from the session I can save the session. All other AIR instruments are fine.

I have just made the latest AIR upgrades..not sure whether it's a PT problem or an AIR problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

OK..so I have called Air support and there is a bug in LOOM. They're working on it and it will be fixed in the next free upgrade.

Just so you know, you are not posting shipwrecked from some uncharted island in the South Pacific. :)

I am experiencing the same problem with Loom and Vacuum Pro, versions 1.0.4 (latest update).

For others reading, the problem doesn't occur in Pro Tools 10.3.10, or with the VST or AU versions of Loom or Vacuum Pro. It occurs only in Pro Tools 11 (in my case, PT 11.3.1).

I also found that all of the other updated AIR instruments are fine.

Glad I'm not alone with this problem..they suggested turning Auto Back Up off in Protools..will try it on my system tonight.

Hi!
I just encountered the same 20008 error code last night with LOOM after downloading the AIR Instrument Expansion Pack.
I also got the same suggestion to disable the Auto Save in Preferences/Operation, but it had no affect.
When will AIR have a new free update that fixes this bug?

FYI everyone, this fixes the AAX version but appears (on my system at least) to have screwed up the 64bit VST! AU is fine though...

The 1.0.5 update works fine in AAX, VST and AU for me, Warren. Trust you've solved your problem.
